Plumbing Tips

Tired of SLOW drains? Slow drains are caused by the build-up of food, grease, body oils, hair, etc. Pretty much anything you put down the drain can eventually lead to a stoppage. Over time this foreign material that is introduced into your system becomes hard as the pipe itself and starts accumulating around the inside diameter
of the pipe. When this occurs it restricts the flow of water and debris going down the line. As the restriction gets greater, the pipe diameter on the inside becomes smaller. One way to counter this issue is to use a product we sell called Bio-Clean. Bio-Clean is a friendly bacteria that is grown in incubators, dried, and mixed with other enzymes and helpers. When you mix Bio-clean in warm water it becomes active and hungry in about 30 minutes. Each of the enzymes eats its own weight of waste in about 1 minute. The family number can double every 30 minutes. Bio-Clean multiples and eats through the waste matter until it is all eaten up. Bio-Clean changes the waste into water, carbon and other elements which run harmlessly out of your waste system. Though Bio-Clean is effective against waste matter it cannot digest INORGANIC MATERIALS such as glass, plastic, and plaster.
The other way to counter the issue is to spend hundreds of dollars on the replacement of your system. Though you can cable your drain, it does NOT remove the flow restriction. It only removes the debris that has plugged the restrictive pipe.
